Hi everyone,
This is a weekly update of where we are on Board business:
New website is up at old domain name – congratulations to Amrita on a wonderful job! 
First newsletter sent out to 2011 members, renewals are coming in.
Renewals and new joins will be sent bylaws/rules and regs, welcome letter and sticker
Cathy and Amrita will host the 2012 ATAA Conference in Snohomish, WA, dates to be announced (fall 2012)
Proposed budget sent out to Board.
Things in progress:
Amrita is still waiting to get all the Treasurer info, but process is started.
Amrita waiting for info to get bonded.
Terri is doing a great job contacting people via phone.
Cathy working on Corporate logbook
Jas looking into having a new association seal made (if we don’t get the old one back soon)
Amrita talking to Shannon Mayfield about awards program

Jas Shearer-McMahon is an avid endurance rider.
In 2011, she earned 5th place in the Mountain Region, Lightweight division for AERC
and also 5th place in her division for her regional club.

Congratulations to Tom Thomsen in Australia for the birth of a new purebred Akhal-Teke filly!
She was born in December 2011 by Mukam, and out of Gelmay.
Mukam is an Ak Sakal line stallion by Mamuk and Galina.
We are looking forward to seeing more pictures on their new website!
