| Akhal-Teke
purebred gelding Glazenov ("Zen", Astrakhan - Pelenli),
a golden dun, has been a regular participant in Del Mar Fair
(recently re-named the San Diego County Fair) for the past several
years. He has been on exhibit in the World of Horses breeds
exhibit, a popular breed showcase seen by an estimated half
of the over 1 million fairgoers each year! In 2004, he participated
in the California State Horsemens Association's "Parade
of Champions" at the fair, where he took first place in
the Authentic Native Costume class. He
is shown with his rider, trainer Debbie Britt-Hay (www.ride2win.com),
and owner Robert Coates.
